After the successful georeferencing project of Atlas Maior and Toonneel der Steden, where more than 800maps from the 17th century by publisher Blaeu were georeferenced, a new project titled “Miscellaneous Maps” is now underway.

The new project includes maps from various regions, providing an exciting opportunity for further exploration and contribution. Help georeference more than 1000 maps from this new project and join our community. The georeferencing process is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive and requires no special knowledge.

Transform scanned historical maps into geographically searchable documents, enrich map metadata, and enhance their value for researchers and map enthusiasts.
